Restaurant Olympia in Bad Sooden-Allendorf

We ate at the Olympia today, which was very good, the service was very nice and friendly, she assigned us a table where there was a lot of space, as we have two dogs and it was a shady place. We will definitely be back there eat when we're back in the area

We had ordered giros with souvlaki (incl. Salad). The food came quickly (salad first). The salad was the best part of the meal, although the salad itself wasn't a highlight. Then we got a very small portion of giros with souvlaki. The giros was not very spicy, not crispy, but still just okay overall. The amount was ridiculous and I fully agree with other reviews in particular. I clearly communicated this to the waitress. It was then made clear to me that the criticism would not be accepted and that the size of the portions would not change. I also referred to other Google Maps reviews, but they are uninteresting according to the statement of the service. The souvlaki, like the giros, was barely in order, but by no means more, and also very small. We're used to eating out much better at Greek restaurants.

Food was basically ok, but nothing special. Unfortunately we got a draughty table in the counter and kitchen despite demand in the cozy part down tables were free. After the meal we also went straight back.

Not recommended! Bread for starters was rock hard, (we asked for, answer, ne would be totally fresh, impudence). Tablecloth was torn & dirty from its predecessor. Owner looks rather loud TV instead of asking for drinks! Had to get up then, & politely ask if I could get something else! Gyros rather lowest average! Salad dressing ready from the bag! French fries taste like calamares, as they are advertised in the menu that they come from the pan! Very funny! My conclusion: Can you save yourself if you value something to eat! Windowsill & heaters dusty and very dirty, from various sauces! Thanks a lot!

Very friendly and fast service even with large groups. Delicious Greek dishes with good value for money. Slightly over decorated. The tablecloth was unfortunately dirty but otherwise completely satisfied.

Service very nice. We were there on a Saturday with six people pitched there and there was actually no kitchen. On request, only one dish could be prepared six times. That was a bit strange, especially since we arrived at 20:30

Those who are in rehab or AHB in Bad Sooden-Allendorf don't have much choice. You had the feeling that only rehab guests come here. But if you set the expectations below, you will not be disappointed. Small portions at normal prices in a cozy atmosphere. It was a great evening, but the second one was somewhere else. If you go to the toilet in the evening, you have to let us know beforehand so that the light can be switched on from above. It will probably be converted. Or one hopes that it has already been switched on.

Favorite Restaurant Best food in town Super nice people!

I was received by a friendly landlady and served immediately. It was a holiday about 13.00 clock. The food came quickly. I ordered suflaki with gyros, metaxasauce and a big grape spritzer. Unfortunately, it was a big disappointment and not as good as it looked. The gyros tasted warmed up. A real pork taste. The fries were wobbly and not really crispy. The Metaxasauce was pervaded by a strong sour cream taste. Unfortunately not as I know and should taste. The portions are quite small for their money. For a total of over 17 euros for the whole meal, I have eaten more than better in other Greek places.
